Description
The Giuliani Anello FGD40 gas pressure regulator, art: 009.0024.101 provides accurate regulation, stable output pressure parameters regardless of changes in gas pipeline pressure. Due to its high-strength cast construction, reliable sealing seals, and a safety membrane, it contributes to the safe operation of gas equipment and the exclusion of leaks. It is designed to equip industrial gas equipment with a pressure of up to 0.2 bar. Complies with European standard EN 88-1.
Application
The Giuliani Anello FGD40 regulator is used to equip automatic gas / combined burners, gas distribution units, consuming natural, city, liquefied gas and other non-aggressive gases.
Main parameters and features:
- equipped with a neutral spring with a working range (P2) of 10-25 mbar;
- permissible gas input pressure: P2 + 5 mbar…200 mbar;
- Class A group 2 according to the European standard EN88-1 (not tested for shut-off);
- mounting in a gas line on a Rp 1 1/2" thread;
- mechanical strength according to the norms of EN 13611;
- operation in conditions of external temperatures: -15...+60 °C;
- for mounting with horizontal membrane placement.
Device of the FGD40 regulator
The FGD pressure regulator is equipped with a cast aluminum body with a removable cover, under which is located the pressure adjustment screw. Internal parts are made of durable, corrosion-resistant materials: aluminum, steel, brass, NBR rubber. A serviceable gas filter is mounted at the inlet, which provides protection of the membranes and seals from clogging and damage by coarse particles. The regulator is equipped with fittings for pressure measurements.
The regulator is completed with three membranes and sealing gaskets made of gas-tight rubber. The compensation membrane is responsible for stabilizing the input pressure, the working membrane maintains the output pressure in accordance with the settings, and the safety membrane serves to seal the gas line. In case of damage to the working membrane, the leak does not exceed 70 dm3/h. Due to the safety membrane, there is no need to install a gas outlet pipe.
FGD pressure regulators are undemanding to maintenance. During operation, it is only required to clean the filter (the filter cover gasket is replaced simultaneously). Membrane replacement is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
Installation and adjustment of the regulator
The regulator must be installed only on a horizontal gas line. Threaded flanges are used for fixing to the gas pipeline. It is important to correctly install the regulator, aligning the arrow on the body with the direction of gas flow.
Setting the output pressure parameters is carried out by rotating the adjusting screw (turning clockwise increases the pressure, counterclockwise – decreases). To access the settings, the cover must be removed. All installation and adjustment operations must be performed by qualified personnel.
